Director of Production Optimization

Responsible for building the strategy and leading the operations of the Production Optimization unit, covering Data and AI Applications, to develop data platforms, analytical models, optimization algorithms and AI applications serving manufacturing, charging-station and electric-vehicle operations; contributing to higher productivity, quality and operational efficiency and driving digital transformation.
Responsibilities
1. Strategy building
Build the development strategy for Data and AI Applications serving manufacturing and operations.
Set the development roadmap for data platforms, analytical models, optimization algorithms and AI applications aligned with the Company's digital-transformation strategy.
Build a portfolio of key Data & AI programs and projects.
2. Managing data-platform development
Direct the planning, building and governance of data infrastructure for analysis, exploitation and operations optimization.
Establish data-governance standards ensuring data completeness, accuracy and security.
Develop data platforms for reporting, analysis and decision-making.
3. Managing AI and optimization solutions
Direct the research, development and deployment of AI and Machine Learning models and optimization algorithms for manufacturing and operations.
Guide the application of AI to problems such as forecasting, classification, recognition, process optimization, decision support and improving operational efficiency.
Evaluate AI effectiveness and build roadmaps to scale and improve solutions.
4. Managing digital-transformation programs
Direct the deployment of data- and AI-application programs in manufacturing.
Coordinate with business units to define problems, build solutions and put them into operation.
Track post-deployment effectiveness and propose continuous-improvement initiatives.
5. Organization and people management
Manage the operations of subordinate departments, including the Data Department and the AI Applications Department.
Build the organizational structure and develop the management and expert teams.
Set goals and KPIs and evaluate the unit's performance.
6. Technology governance
Guide the selection of technologies, architecture and platforms for Data & AI development.
Ensure solutions are built to technical standards, scalable and able to meet long-term operational needs.
Track new technology trends to propose suitable applications.
7. Coordination
Coordinate with units in the Manufacturing Software Operations Division and business units to deploy Data, AI and production-optimization programs.
Requirements
Education
Bachelor's degree or above in Information Technology / Computer Science / Artificial Intelligence (AI) / Data Science / Information Systems / Applied Mathematics or related fields.
Experience
At least 10 years of experience in IT, Data or AI.
At least 5 years in a department-level management position or above.
Experience building and deploying data platforms, analytics systems or AI solutions in an enterprise.
Candidates who have participated in digital-transformation or Smart Manufacturing programs are preferred.
Domain knowledge
Knowledge of Data Platform, Data Warehouse, Data Lake and Data Governance.
Understanding of Machine Learning, Generative AI, LLM or modern AI technologies.
Knowledge of system architecture, cloud computing and data integration.
Understanding of manufacturing processes, operations optimization or industrial systems is an advantage.

Working Hours
- 05 official working days at the office (Monday – Friday).
- 02 remote working days per month on Saturdays on a rotating schedule.
- Flexible working hours with check-in window from 08:30 – 09:30.
- Proactively manage time to complete 08 working hours/day.
